it’s honestly terrible and schools do nothing about it. my sister has been bullied relentlessly since she entered 9th grade and she’s now graduating a year early cause she’s done all her highschool work online since after multiple meetings the staff did nothing to the bullies and now she’s afraid to go to school :(

yeah this is why i left education tbh. i’m trans & queer & goth and i was just not getting support i needed from admin.

This is why I can’t work with smartasses, especially kids. My throat chakra would need realigning because I would have popped off and a LOT of those fucking brats would have gone home crying before their parents came and got some of their own.

i’m just a para (one to one specifically) so i can’t do much unfortunately but teachers don’t hold these kids accountable and it pisses me off so much

and i know for a fact the art teacher was aware of what was happening because he had to say “are you guys okay can you pay attention to the lecture” and the kids just didn’t stop. the teacher didn’t even try to end it either which is the sad thing

1000%. my school has the phone pouches now so they don’t have access to their phones at all during the school day and for some reason these kids are convinced that the more they act out, that they’ll get their phones back quicker. like no it is in fact doing the exact opposite
