Hydration is key. It is perfectly okay to have not seen a gyno yet. It isn’t even recommended until 21+, you are OKAY! Anything and EVERYTHING can throw off the 🐱, if there is more to it than “stench” then id definitely look into it. What you eat can make it smell funky sometimes. 🐱s are weird. Stay hydrated and throw in some extra vitamins and you’ll be okay! (I always recommend azo cranberry)

Girl if you’re 20 and you should A) Be on parental insurance or B) have found a way to get smth from a full time position or C) government care / school. If you have ever seen a dr from 18+ then I’m surprised they aren’t a gyno already call the number in whatever Insurance card you have and ask for in range covered gynos taking in new patients. Nobody needs access to your records besides you after 18.

I am still on their insurance and whatnot but honestly my parents haven’t been the best within the parenting role especially my mom in teaching her daughter how to be a young lady so I’m the oldest and was never taught about periods, sex, how to shave, etc. I’ve had to watch tutorials and whatever and it’s like whenever I try to bring up things like this I shut down because it truly feels like a humiliation ritual going to a mom who has done nothing but criticize her daughter for everything

Omg thank you , I’ve been looking for vitamins to get on and actually stay consistent with but I never know what actually works! I also wonder about those suppositories that you stick in there .. boric acid capsules i think ( dont quote me on that ! ) but i just don’t know what stuff is actually safe to put down there , and i do drink lots of water so trust i am hydrated !! 🌸

This is a google search away I also never had the sex talk, never given razors until I asked and never was shown how, never taught tampons and pads, I had to hit the wall first and then was I given pads bc what else I had no money at 12. But when 18 hit my pedi told me it was my last. Mom said I had to find a new one. I called the insurance card that came in the mail, found one and signed it myself onto her insurance. Found my own policy at 26, maintained an ok rate. Money is money. By myself

I didn’t want to google search .. I came to a place to post anonymously to ask for help from fellow girls rather than relying on an ai generated response that might not even be that beneficial to me which is why i asked other girls rather than google searching & we are 2 different girls , 2 different women i’ve hit the wall time and time again but i am also still a young adult who is moving onto true adulthood which is why i’d rather ask for help somewhere in hopes of not getting criticized

And I say this in the nicest way but some of the stuff you said I couldn’t understand, I may just be a bit dumb but I think you worded some things wrong

I have struggled w yeast infections for 10+ years (thanks womanhood). Boric suppositories DO work, but monistat is also another great recommendation. There are test strips at target that you can also use that’ll test your ph or even uti strips. Just stay hydrated and let the 🐱 breathe. Wear loose pants to bed if it ever gets super uncomfortable too

Brown can be normal if you’re near your period, sometimes period blood that has yet to come out can make your discharge brown, depending on how yellow it is that could certainly mean that there is some bacteria going on. I am wondering if you are someone who is super prone to UTIs or Yeast Infections

I don’t really know a reputable gynecologist to go to within my area so I don’t really know what to search/look for to find one that could check me out
