Imma scream and cry. I am really in a self hate mode rn. So basically i graduated like yesterday and had the whole ceremony. I got a 67.52 in a class that I needed a 70 to pass. I can’t do this again idk what to do

I’m an out of state student I can’t afford this anymore, really. They offer the course but I just moved back home today. Okay so the thing is I had to take 2 courses this semester and they were prerequisites of eachother. One class which was the prerequisite, I took in a previous semester and got a D. The profs told me that if that was the only class I needed to graduate they’d support my petition to graduate with a D but only that school year. Then I needed more classes so ofc I retook this

Class and passed just now, this semester. Now for the second class I took this semester, I took it without the prerequisite with special permission from the dean of my department. I feel like doing a petition where I could be like hey there were something’s introduced in this class before the other prereq class that I now know cuz I obviously passed the other class and if I retake this class I will pass this class because I passed the other class the second time. So please save me the money

is there any chance you can take the class at an accredited community college and transfer it over? you’re really so close to the finish line. also taking a couple years off may be an option for you? that’s what i did when i first “graduated”

No, I can’t do either. So it’s literally a 2 credit class so I can’t take years off cuz I have grad school. Then I have to have 4 courses completed in residency so ofc this last one is one of the 4 courses and I can’t take it anywhere else

I think it’s fine but they are rude and it won’t fly. It’s just that other first class also had prerequisites and I took it without the prerequisites of that class when I first took it and “that’s why I got a D” apparently so the school can just as easily say yeah that was a bad idea on ur part u should’ve waited for the prerequisite then taken the class but I don’t have time cuz grad school
