As a woman in Healthcare. I’m tired of patients over sexualizing me because I wear scrubs. Like yes my ass looks good. No, you don’t need to slap it. Tell your hands relatives to behave.

Girl, God forbid I have to put foley or put in a male, pure wick. I’ve literally had men tell me they love me like maybe two hours into the shift

Honestly, make me wanna vomit a little bit. I had one asked me if I can hold his urinal while he peed. I told him if he doesn’t hold it. I’m gonna have to tell the doctor he can’t urinate on his own and I’ll have to put in a Foley. Then again, I work night shift so I can get away with saying a lot to them 😂😂 But sometimes you gotta give them the hard stop.

My favorite thing to do is to ask if they have kids and if their kids are the same age as me, especially if they’re a girl, I will ask questions that are relevant to probably what their kid would ask them. Maybe somewhere deep in that lizard brain they will understand that this is not OK
