Opinions on girls pointing out that other girls aren’t “girl’s girls”??? Old friend said I’m not a girls girl cuz I didn’t drink with them. It really offended me because I just don’t support underage drinking. I feel like she has become a pick me girl

Being a girl’s girl is about supporting women and calling out women’s wrongs when appropriate. Most people tend to forget that last part.

i think she just used the term wrong tbh. “girl’s girls” support other girls but that doesn’t mean just going along with whatever other girls want to do

Tbh the term “girl’s girl” started by describing women who are actively engaging in solidarity, but kind of blew up culturally and ceased meaning anything at all, really. It’s just the progressive washing of calling someone annoying

Like, now that we recognize calling someone “annoying ass bitch” is mean, but we still want to be mean, so we have to get creative to make a justifiable “reason” that allows us to be Mean and Right
