I’m slightly the same way. I always thought I wanted kids but now I’m open to the idea of not having them. I mean I think if my parents really wants kids I will but if we’re both kinda like meh I might not even have kids or wait awhile

I am literally the exact same say about kids! Everyone around me when they see a baby and there in awe and when I see one, I always have a disgusted look on my face. But I am told by many people that it is different when it is your own.

Same. When asked if I want to hold a baby I look at it, same facial expression, and politely decline. And then when asked why not, people have a hard time understanding that I literally just don’t want to. It’s not necessary a pleasant experience for me I guess you could say

For many women, it’s not the baby they want. They want societal approval. Society “rewards” mothers with validation & acceptance.
