You should go! Here’s what I do so I don’t end up standing alone in a corner. 1. If the host lets you in look around and comment positively on their style 2. Then go to the kitchen or living room and look for someone taking pics or on their phone (ie someone not engaged in a conversation) 3. Give them a GENUINE compliment about something they are wearing. DONT make something up. I have dyed hair so if someone has a cool color I will usually say that. 4. Ask how they know the host 5. Repeat 2-4
