I need genuine advice. I feel like I’ve gotten kind of addicted to doomscrolling and idk how to stop it at this point. I lost my job recently and my man’s job has him come in at weird hours so we never have a consistent sleep schedule so life feels off rn

this may not work for you but cold turkey works great for me. i delete them all with no anticipation and fill my time with other things like watching motivational self improvement youtube videos, reading, roaming around, playing games, exploring something i’ve been meaning to, making things, cleaning up, etc.

there’s apps that lock insta and tiktok up so you can’t doom scroll and you can set time limits for how long you want the apps to be locked for
