Hot take but Sabrina carpenter isn’t really setting women back bc straight men aren’t tuning into her music or what she’s doing. So comparing her to Sydney Sweeney isn’t even something you can do in good faith. Esp bc Sabrina puts down on men in her music

I don’t hate Sabrina but I lowk don’t like her music it’s too bland lolll idk tbh I have mixed feelings on her as an artist but I don’t know her well enough to make assumptions

As a guy who has seen men talk about this, I feel like a lotta men miss the point of her music or the way she acts. For example, when people were up in arms about the album cover, I don’t think they realized the satire involved and that lowkey Sabrina is wayyy less degrading on women’s rights than people think. Especially when comparing them to someone who openly supports Trump

I am not a Stan but I do like the music. Looking at her lyrics I was able to go “oh wait she’s actually making fun of men” bc I also thought for a moment that she was just playing into stereotypes. Which she is but there’s a meta about it
