also something else so many of these people that i know that use it are heath gurus, or just really fit, or all about calories or eating healthy and yet some of them are so smart, i want to be as book smart as them, so there’s no way they don’t know about the health risks right? and like i get it, it’s an addiction, but they’re so open about using it, it’s just so “1+1=fish” to me, but yeah i don’t say anything because i think they’d take offense

do you think it’s like that for most people? or some don’t even think about quitting? i notice my coworkers do it so mindlessly, mid conversation etc, and they share with each other too, asking about the flavor, or just randomly tapping the other’s jacket pockets to grab it and i wonder if they notice im the only one that doesn’t do it 😭 and if they think im lame for that idek i dont touch the topic ever, for fear or being weird

some people don’t think about quitting, but i think about it a lot and i know a lot of people who want to quit. however, i do hit it mindlessly because it’s habit at this point. your coworkers may think about quitting but it is very very hard and i personally hate when people try to act like it’s so easy. i don’t think they think you’re lame though. i’ve never met an adult who thought someone was lame for not vaping

ty for answering, honestly yeah the last question was probably on my mind most lmao, like i’d never do it, but i genuinely feel left out because of being the only one not doing it, everyone is super nice to me but i always just continue my tasks when they talk about it with each other and i step away bc like i have no reason to be there my ex managed to quit, before i met him, idk how but i think he only used it for a short time and also something about being broke lmao, i wish i asked him more

trust trust, i don’t feel bad about being “left out” it’s more like a factual observation that i do stand to the side a little because yeah i feel awkward just standing there when they all hit the vape 😭 also one more thing, like 95% of my coworkers are international students. i heard vaping was dying out and noticed that myself when im in my hometown with my old high school classmates. i lowkey wonder if being international has something to do with it like they’re “behind” on the trend lmfao
