I don’t think it’s racist. I was thinking maybe they felt there was a cultural difference or something. I just felt like maybe it was something with meaning since they felt it was important to mention their race.

I don’t think her statement is far fetched at all. Most people prefer their race when dating but i definitely feel it’s a little weird to completely turn down someone because of it, especially in the U.S. Sometimes people don’t like cultural differences when bonding with people and that’s on them.
