also i've tried talking to him about some things but it's always something and it's liek i don't wanna hold him accountable if he actually has stuff going on cs then i feel bad or suffocating. some stuff ive talked to him about and he's never defensive but he has explanations for things it's just idk if he's telling the truth. also should mention the "cousin" lives much closer to him than i do🫠
It sounds like he’s being dishonest in some way. What helped me was to put myself in my ex’s shoes. Would you get so distant if something was going on in your life? Would you treat his concerns like suffocation? Would you ever see making plans and setting aside time for him as too much, and would his need for that be a burden? Would you reassure him? Would you even let him worry like that?
i personally would never intentionally do anything that would upset him. i wouldn't ever get distant, his concerns r important, plans are ideal, reassurance should come easily, and i would never let him worry. that's why i don't understand because he was the same way as me before and now hes all nonchalant. i believe maybe hes just not into me anymore. idk why hes dragging it out though and not just telling me whats going on. that's why i feel stuck.
i don't wanna be the girl to leave him when he's going through something because i support him unconditionally. if he's going through something that sucks for sure but why not talk to me about it? or if he's uninterested why not just say that? i js don't understand being into me for x amount of time and then switching up and acting like you don't have time for me. because he did before, so what changed? i talk to him about it too and he's js like "nothing changed" sooooo idk how to move.
He saying nothing has changed but his actions are saying the opposite. It would be better to clearly communicate all of this to him, because it’s honestly valid if you’re not outright accusing him. A good boyfriend will be more worried that you’re worried, not feel attacked. Also, if it’s not working then you’re not cruel for ending it at any time. At the end of the day, it’s his responsibility to have a support system outside of you and to manage his emotions.
