You knew to turn the comments off. Mammification is harmful. But playing dumb is very on brand.
Regardless of anyone’s race, if you deny a child in need of help, you’re a POS. That being said, directing your children toward a specific race for help is weird, don’t do that sh!t

she said that directing a child to a specific race for help is weird and to stop doing that. i don’t understand how you’re finding a problem with that statement. she’s agreeing that mammification is wrong

ah yes the classic downvote when you don’t agree with an opinion instead of explaining your pov.

I’m gonna mention again is the OP is getting upset and calling someone a POS over a hypothetical. No kids are in danger. OP is blowing up over a hypothetical situation rather than focusing on what was being said about why that is harmful.

And that’s on top of the fact that this person blocked several people that tried to explain this to her before turning off comments.

you’re also focusing on only the hypothetical and getting mad that the hypothetical is being addressed in addition to get addressing that the mammy role is indeed wrong. both statements can be true at once; leaving a kid to suffer cause you don’t want to help them is wrong (regardless of if it’s a hypothetical or not), and that the mammy role is fucked up and shouldn’t continue to be used

Except you’re doing the same thing you’re acting like there’s an actual kid in danger. A win in fact no child is being harmed. And again she actively blocked people, including the original poster if I remember correctly because she could not be wrong. This isn’t about some hypothetical scenario. This is about wanting to be right when you’re wrong and hyper fixating on a very small detail rather than have the difficult conversation.

so are you also not hyper fixating on a really small detail? you seem to be completely ignoring that op agreed that the mammification of black women is wrong, and are only focusing on the hypothetical

i agree that op shouldn’t have blocked the oop but based on some discussions in other posts i’ve seen regarding this topic, there’s more attacking someone for not being fully educated on a subject (because american history is fucked) rather than educating them or guiding them to resources to educate themselves. so no i’m not surprised that op blocked people if she was getting attacked, which could very well be the case. people are mean on here if you don’t know every piece of history.

OP was just saying that to cover her, but all she wanted was a viral post with none of the accountability.

and do you know op personally? how do you know that?

Pattern recognition. She’s not the first one to do something like this on here, and again, blocking people and turning off comments because they try to have a conversation with you is a big red flag.
