
It really depends on your risk tolerance. Birth control is 0-99.9% effective depending on your method and usage. If you’re on a pill with perfect usage, there’s a 99+% chance that this won’t result in pregnancy. There are people out there that “pull and pray” and there are people out there that won’t do PnV. Risk tolerance varies.The most important thing is understanding how your chosen method(s) work and deciding if you’re comfortable with the protection they provide with your level of usage.
I was on the pill for 10 months and let my bf come in me minimum 3 times a week and it was fine. Just don’t skip a pill and follow the directions about taking it. No birth control is 100% but as long as you’re following the directions then it’ll do what it’s meant to do to protect against pregnancy
