everytime someone tries something like this at my job they lowkey meet the version of me that my dad knows

I’ve had people try to pull that scam where they “pay” for a bunch of gift cards but run off with the activated cards after their payment method declines but I made it a policy of mine to keep all gift cards behind the register until the transaction fully went through and so many people got pissed at me
