I’m sure this is rhetorical but part of me wonderes if women have evolved to be prettier because historically women were more valued for their looks and therefore more likely to find a partner and reproduce whereas men jobs historically were to provide and unfortunately the women tended to have less say in the physical looks of their partner because marriage and wealth was a necessity
