Even tho im in a girls body I always feel like im cosplaying as one because i feel so out of place when im around other girls. I don’t even mean this as a “I’m one of the boys” but I literally don’t have a girl’s personality at all

Are you autistic? I didn’t realize I was for a long time and that turned out to be the cause of a lot of it

it might be worth looking into the possibility of you not being cisgender and if not that then that kind of sounds like autism

Like I know there’s no such thing as a girl’s personality but i mean the overall behavior that most women share and how they interact with each other it’s hard to put into words

It’s funny that you brought that up because I’m starting to realize I might be different idk if it’s autism or something else but there’s a good chance I might be…. Tho the process of getting a proper diagnosis when ur a girl sounds like hell. My brother was diagnosed with autism when he was really young but nobody ever suspected anything to be wrong w me because I was able to fit in just fine but now that I’m older I feel out of the ordinary

You can take the RAADS-r assessment for free online, it takes like 10 minutes and can give you a pretty good idea as to whether or not you’re autistic There’s also a huge disparity in diagnoses between boys and girls because women are better at masking/have a lot more social consequences for not masking so they learn quicker. Might be worth looking into!

Well to be frank I don’t care that hard about trying to figure out where I fall within the labels because I feel like nobody can describe what it’s like to be me and how i perceive myself so I think labels don’t truly define my entire experience so they aren’t always fitting. Yes I am afab and I’m comfortable with my body, I don’t care about altering it— I just find it difficult to behave “correctly” with women and it affects me because I mainly desire relationships with women instead of men.

And yeah. I might have autism but I don’t know, I’ve only recently been speculating that

Thank you for this info!! I’ll definitely check it out :)), and yeaah I’ve heard about that— I feel like most girls are prone to masking and trying to fit in so it does make sense
