I just think it’s really deceptive that they’re specifically trying to make it look like people have downvoted it and don’t agree. I’ve noticed this for I think over a year and was like what the hell is going on why am I getting downvoted. You guys can try this on your own posts with these phrases I commented and see

It’s crazy how they totally do it like that to try to make it look more natural. If you all of a sudden got a lot of downvotes at once right away every time that would be more noticeable

I’ve also suspected for a while that they manipulate votes in the other direction. I’ve noticed that comment upvotes rarely stay at 2; if it gets to 2, it usually also goes up to 3. It’s like they add another upvote to simulate activity. Unless humans just have a natural tendency to stop at the number 3 lol. But they might do this to encourage participation

I’ve thought about posting other places. I think this is a big deal that they have a system in place that works like this off pure deception faking real people liking or disliking something. But I’ve posted about it before and I posted this in so many communities and no one really seems to gaf which made me question it. But I think people should care more
