For the women in here who go to the gym regularly do you have any tips for getting lean? I’m kinda skinny fat and I’m trying to put on muscle and slim out my legs

cut refined sugar, limit sodium, limit carbs, eat as much lean protein, cooked or raw vegetables, and fresh fruit (not juice) as you want. just walking for as long as you can if you’re afraid to hurt yourself with strength training and can’t afford/access a trainer is better than giving up entirely!

increase ur protein intake to ur body weight or desired body weight (ex. 145g protein), drink water, and lift heavy.

I know I’ll probably need to incorporate strength training and incorporate my protein in take but I have such bad gym anxiety bc idk what I’m doing 😭

Would I still be able to lean out with just increasing protein and fiber and cardio or is heavy weight lifting a must?

But the lifting with help you maintain muscle.. with only cardio you’ll lose body fat but you’ll probably still be skinny fat or just skinny depends on the look you wat

Also one more question but my biggest fear with losing weight is losing my curves. I know you can’t spot train or target fat loss but is there a way to minimize the impact of like losing my hips and ass 😭

That’s why you eat your protein and lift heavy! But 9/10 x if those are genetic curves you have nothing to worry about. You will lose a little curves but your shape won’t change

Wait that makes sense! Tbh I feel like my curves are a mix of lifestyle and genetics? Like I’ve always store fat in my thighs and hips but bc my weight is a bit smaller when I lose weight it’s more exaggerated? Idk if that makes sense
