the guy i’m seeing just got a job at a gas station (he’s in his last yr of school & his internship ended), and i LOOVE. that he can set aside ego to simply work SOMEwhere. idk. i love that.

honestly real, bc so many ppl will stay jobless instead of getting a job that is “beneath” them.

exactly !! like ik he deep down thinks that but he doesn’t care bc a job is a job, he’s not gonna work there forever & even if he does he’s the kinda guy he’ll move up & who knows where it’ll go, I think the drive & motivation to just have a job is attractive & setting aside the ego of being too good to work at a gas station just so he can make money is sooo awesome to me

one of my bfs friends started working at one in hs and now he makes $27/hr and manages it! i’ll never put someone down for job especially these days
