upvote 30 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #16 5w

gender dysphoria is a medical intersex condition it’s not something people choose. that being said i do think some people tend to the pop psychology thing and think everything someone has is it when it’s in truth an incredibly rare medical condition.

upvote 2 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 5w

i don’t think you understand that your brain is literally wired into your gender and that if you have anything even slightly off it causes extreme discomfort to the highest level

upvote -7 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #12 5w

this is the whole reason why trans people exist. also this isn’t me being stupid and saying things like “female desires” or other mysogynistic things exist but moreso your primary and secondary sex characteristics are supposed to be a specific way and your brain is wired for them to be that way.

upvote -4 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #12 5w

but instead of getting treated as a medical disorder we are treated as a fun silly identity you can choose to have one day so to no need to back up why you have it because appropriating conditions is fine if they are popular or something

brain sex theory is quite literally proven and has nothing to do with “feminine desires” (which is a misogynistic concept). brain sex theory mainly relates to how your brain perceives your own sex.

if you’re talking about me describing physical differences from my body to others though idk what to tell you. this is just quite literally the truth of how bodies work. if you’re criticising my wording that’s valid (i used casual wording since this is yikyak) but me describing physical scientific differences in humans isn’t mysogynistic. it’s quite literally just science.

upvote 10 downvote

It’s just that the *way* you described it sounded very male centered.

fair enough as i said i used really casual wording here as this is yikyak.

upvote -1 downvote
default user profile icon

i absolutely could have worded what i said better and i did stupidly assume the person asking primarily cared about sexual differences. there’s a few others but they don’t really matter unless you are seriously considering getting this surgery.

wait do trans girls actually get discharge the same way cis girls do? i assumed discharge was from stuff like our cycle like vaginal discharge is from ovulation and stuff

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #8 5w

idk if it’s exactly the same but there is some sort of discharge especially immediately after surgery (we also bleed a lot immediately after) but it slows down after a month or two

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #12 5w

yeah at least for me i have at least some kind of discharge almost every day of the month it’s usually clear or white and doesn’t smell like anything except for a period obviously. except now i’m birth control and it’s either thick and white or none at all unless im turned on

Anonymous replying to -> #12 5w

wait you don’t have to answer if this is an invasive question i don’t wanna make you uncomfortable but what’s it caused by do you know

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #8 5w

not sure nor do i care all that much i think its just caused by me being horny a lot since thats when i usually get wet 😭

default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #12 5w

oh weird

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #8 5w

i could probably ask my surgeon team if you’re that curious but my assumption would be it’s just that a lot of organs are very similar anyways and for my specific type of surgery a lot of them got re-arranged which is the whole reason i am able to get wet (i think people who get inversion are unable to get wet as those organs are cut entirely i believe)

Well by that standard, ig I just have hatefemalebodyproblemsmorphia because I’m totally fine being a cis woman, but I’m just sick and fucking tired of periods and vaginal everything. Our bodies are not taken seriously or researched near as much as the male body so it’s just a struggle how nothings truly made with us in mind. I’m sure there’s plenty of cis men who loath the two dangling jingle bells between their legs but they’re fine with the body they were given in general 😭

Sis I think they recently found out that a lot of women contract BV through their male partners. If you keep getting it with the same partner, i think they can go to the doctor to get antibiotics which lessens the chance of you continuously contracting it

upvote 1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #3 5w

BV is the bacterial equivalent of a yeast infection. It’s an imbalance of biota in the vagina. Yes, male partners pH can affect the biota but they don’t directly cause infections
