The us economy is worse off rn that a lot of people realize, the ai bubble is massive and dampening some of the effects. Additionally the bigger the bubble grows, the worse the effects of it bursting will be.

If I had to guess it will have consequences for the financial industry similar to how the housing bubble popping had consequences for the financial industry but idk how many of these ai data centers are financed
