Iโ€™m replaying all of the 3D 007 games to get ready for First Light, and good lord Bloodstone is still so good. Iโ€™ll never forgive Activision for sabotaging this game and killing Bizarre Creations as a studio because of it.

Not only that but I know the Craig-era games have a tenuous connection to the films at best in terms of being canon, but it was so clear that Bizarre Creations loved what they had made and were excited to make another one, and then they had their plug pulled less than year later. Glad to see the new game is more in this kind of style.

Also, by all 3D 007 games, does that mean youโ€™re going to force yourself to play 007 Legends?

Right? It was such a unique game, and it holds up really well visually for being 15 years old. Hopefully First Lightโ€™s driving will be close in terms of feeling to Bloodstoneโ€™s because they nailed it. Also yes, unfortunately Iโ€™m going to have to suffer through Legends again. I am dreading the License to Kill levels. Outside of the voice cast, that campaign had zero redeeming qualities. Just another dead studio thanks to Activision giving them <7 months to make it. RIP to Eurocom too I suppose.
