People miss the point. This isn’t a sequel or continuation replacing Kratos. It’s a lore expansion happening simultaneously in the world. It’s just cool world building

I think the community is rightly skeptical and fatigued from really shitty sequels where the main selling point is an ugly gender swapped man character. Maybe this game will be great but the track record from the industry really doesn’t suggest that.

Judge the studio, not the industry trends. If the writing is elite, the protagonist's gender doesn't matter. Santa Monica Studio has never missed on story. I’m hyped to see how they handle multiple mythologies coexisting, and I definitely want to see more of the badass woman who looked at the Ghost of Sparta, said 'I can fix him,' and actually did.

If the game is good the rest won’t matter, on that we agree. I’m withholding full judgment until release but I wasnt impressed with the trailer. We’ll see.
