
It was real people on chess.com. I got to a super low rank in 30min so most people I play suck. I think I’ve just learned that to make any attack in chess, you likely have to double up on pieces. Sounds intuitive but it’s helped me find checkmates earlier in game (like Queen and knight or Queen and bishop)
It’s all about knowing when to strike, and how much you’re willing to commit to make it happen, and ofc not making yourself too open off the cuff, good luck on your journey! check out queen’s gambit if you haven’t already, not as well as a book/in-depth video but it was entertaining and I felt like I was learning stuff
