it's not terrible but I thought it was pretty underwhelming. really does feel like a movie tie-in game. the gore effects are cool though.

It’s like what #1 said. Not terrible but when you consider it’s had a budget of $300 million, similar to the Spider-Man 2 game, it is a big letdown. Effects and physics were better in Prototype 2, which can out 13 years ago and had an open world to worry about as well.
