If you haven’t checked them out yet: Mechabellum and Beyond All Reason are super fun, but kinda under ground. Former is turn based and latter is real-time.

I honestly used to think strategies were boring but then I got put on to CIV and it’s def pretty fun especially when you play with people!

Ofc, although I genially believe that due to a lower demand in popularity of this ganre, we wouldn’t see any of the games of this sort any time soon. Except from those companies that specializes in them (like Paradox, Creative Assembly and others). I’d say rn I’m quite excited about the new Heroes of Might and Magic that will come out sooner or later from Ubisoft(I think it’s them, since they bought the right for franchise), since I’ve played countless hours in Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
