prices are extremely high lately, I wouldn't expect too many sales. it's literally three days away though so I don't see any reason not to wait and at least see

Depends on where you're buying from. Microcenter (if you're fortunate enough to have one near you) does tons of sales throughout the year. Newegg I think also does some discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon as well. So I'd keep an eye on those 3 places if you're not looking there already.
