Also want to mention I got the game on Xbox and have since gotten a new PC but those greedy fucks don’t let you download the game on Microsoft store or Xbox app on PC, they want you to buy it for each platform. Was excited to get back on the game but I won’t be now

Yik yak skews far left so I dont expect a nuanced conversation on the topic here but both can be true at the same time as others have said. Corporate greed, mediocrity and bloat is definitely crippling AAA studios but it’s also the industry culture that’s openly hostile to their customers. Consumers are tired of overpriced, mediocre games infect with political propaganda. Just for a recent example look at the new Halo remake which embodies both and is the worst release in the series to date.

I mean they may have laid off devs since they lost smth like 90-95% of player base following launch - a lot of ppl buy games just bc of the name or hype and don't continue playing but it's still absolute scumbag behavior don't get me wrong
