He’s just part of that Joe Rogan-sphere where it’s a bunch of the dumbest guys you know hosting political commentators (95% of whom are from only one side) on their show, allowing them to speak completely unchallenged, and when you call their content political they’re like “nah man it’s just a comedy podcast” every single time no matter who the guests are or how political they get

And there’s nothing wrong with being a political comedian, even a one-sided one. Like, Jon Stewart is a political comedian who has a clear agenda, but he admits it, which I think puts him a step above the Rogan-sphere where they are clearly politically engaged but also refuse to admit that it’s what they do.

I mean there’s plenty of shit people are allowed to do, that I wouldn’t stop them from doing, that would also make me consider them a bad person. Being a dishonest political hack is one of those things. You know, like cheating on a partner, for example. I wouldn’t do it, I would say anyone who does is a bad person, but if you really wanna do it I also ain’t gonna stop you from doing it or say you should go to jail for it. Anyone is ALLOWED to be a shitty person, but they shouldn’t be.
