Depending on what 3DS model you have, it ranges from extremely easy to slightly annoying

that one's slightly annoying. google "ifixit 3ds battery replacement" for a walkthrough but the main obstacle is needing a specialized screwdriver

I found it pretty easy tbh, you can order replacement kits off of amazon that have the battery and the tiny screw driver you need. Just unscrew the back off and remove the battery, simple as that! ^^
