Okay so you know how there was a pretty noticeable drop in quality between Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 1? This game is why. All the good devs that made Battlefield Hardline left DICE and made their own studio called Embark. Same studio that made Arc Raiders.

That was solid info. Now close the deal. I like arc raiders. But isn’t the finals basically like call of duty? Why should I play?

The finals has fully destructible environments. Entire buildings can collapse mid-match. You can blow holes through walls, drop the floor out beneath somebody, destroy zip lines and cover, and collapse the objective entirely. In games like CoD, maps are almost always completely static. In The Finals, the map is a part of your strategy. Causing Chaos and destroying things are not only advantageous, but actively encouraged.
