A furry is anyone who identifies with being in the fandom! Usually someone who appreciates furry (anthropomorphic) art or media at the minimum. I do identify as a furry yolo. I don’t know why I joined but I just did one day. Some misunderstandings are that we are attracted to animals? Or that we identify as animals? There are absolutely a very small percentage of people in general who are like that, but to generalize furries as this is totally incorrect.

Also to generalize furries like that is extremely harmful because genuine normal people who just like drawing cute little animals get compared to people who want to harm them.
