Your art is crazy good. My nitpick is making sure the eyes don’t overlap with the edge of the face. I used to do this too! I’d also work on line confidence, unless there’s something specific making your lines more shaky-ish! Your colors are pretty! I really like this!!

It’s good, but it’s just a start. Now comes the hard part: practicing a shit ton. The colors work, and the style is appealing, but it’s not yours and you wouldn’t be able to replicate it without a reference, at least not right now. All I can advise at this stage is keep working with your references: trace them, understand the lines and shapes, then draw it side by side, then draw it from memory. Take time to study the fundamentals individually as well: anatomy, values, color, etc etc

i'm not an artist but i think your style is super cute! literally the only critiques i have (again, as a non-artist) are that some colors don't stay within the lines and the background purples drown out the purples in the wings and the tail. but i think the shakiness of the lines is really charming and works well with the style. i'd also say it's pretty impressive for only an hour of work! keep practicing :3
