If you’re in the DMV, stay away from the Maryland groups and join the DC groups. The MD scene is particularly fragmented, as each group seems to be in a race to the bottom when it comes to how toxic their leadership can be. At least two groups have confirmed pedos/zoos or sympathizers in them, and the rest are just toxic overall. Rampant favoritism, gossip, harassment, etc.
