Okay be real - I have a classmate I think is cute. We only talk about class related stuff. Is it weird to follow her on IG even though we have no mutuals? Or am I just overthinking?

ask her about what she does in her free time or what she enjoys and ask her about herself her values in life (people like talking about themselves in order to feel heard) then eventually you could ask her to do something that both of y’all like outside of class. but if she says no , that’s means no.

Def agree with reply to stories like general fllw ups, don’t continually message if you don’t get a response tho. understand when they say no or aren’t interested (ghosting, left on read) I feel like it’s important to continue talking in person, even picking up from convos over txt (and class related). Do NOT make sexual jokes or comments, even you think they understand it’s a joke. I know it should be common knowledge but don’t jump the gun with making “inside jokes”
