I had a friend who did exactly the same thing to me and she tended to come off super judgmental with her infantilization. Her and I aren’t friends anymore for this exact reason and i brought it up by saying “sometimes i feel like you don’t think im capable of making good decisions” which open up a bigger discussion

Oof yeah a lot of people tell me how naive I seem to them… like weird thing to say to me but ok. I’m actually the opposite- I was just being kind/looking on the brighter side/ giving the benefit of the doubt. Those people aren’t in my life anymore either.
