i understand this really well :( what’d she text you about? if she responds back to you, then perhaps you could see if she wanted to talk about what happen? you could explain your pov and everything. one of my friends also cut me off because she was suicidal (and in an abusive relationship, but she said it was mainly bc she was suicidal), and when she reached out two years later and explained everything, i was more than happy to rebuild our friendship. we’re closer now than ever :)

she just asked how I was doing. I apologized about everything, and asked if she was interested in rebuilding the friendship. she responded last night. Short, but basically she’s fine and understands. I’m just confused why after all that time she reached out in the first place.
