-law school and yk ACTUALLY GRADUATE ON TIME I also don’t think my credits will transfer into most of the good hometown colleges or if I’ll ever get in. Idk what to do also I’m like pretty much dependent on them rn even tho they don’t pay for my school out of pocket I still need them for fafsa and fafsa parent loans. I’d prefer advice on how to convince them to stay in my current college. I’m so lost and didn’t expect this much of a serious consequence.

I don’t have advice (I’m sorry bro) but I do want to say that your parents sound fucking insane. An adult, making choices that affect only them and their body??? Scandalous!!! I can’t believe they’d want you to transfer colleges over that. Would they be less bothered if you gave a reason, or made it look like you were some sort of victim?? Peer pressure maybe? Or would that just make everything worse? I personally would lay out all the math about how transferring would put you behind.
