Tbh yeah, probably. Unless she’s literally off and away on the moon, she might be trying to drift away I could be wrong. Idk her or your relationship, so if you know better ignore me, but from my perspective it does seem like she might not wanna talk to you

I’d honestly ask if you did anything to offend/ask for better communication if so. I’m not proud to admit it but I was once the ghoster after a friend increasingly started being “my way or the high way” and wouldn’t be willing to have a conversation about how that felt. Not saying it was right of her to ghost (if she’s doing it intentionally ig, you don’t know) but she may feel like it’s the easiest way out of an uncomfortable situation

Another possibility is she may have accidentally not responded for some time, say a week from being busy from work. She may have realized that she was absent for a while, but been too anxious to text explaining, and of course avoidance just makes texting again harder as time goes on

sometimes im just busy/depressed and don’t want to accidentally send the message that I’m able to talk regularly when I’m not 😭 I don’t experience the feeling of friendship decay, so I always consider my friendships “in stasis” unless there’s some indication otherwise
