It’s so strange that does indeed appear to be a thing. I have a friend who’s tall and who looks very conventionally feminine - but somehow she’s had folks ask if she’s ’really a woman’. It’s amazing what people feel comfortable saying to other people just…casually. 😭

For me, it’s always an issue with men. Men literally get upset when they see me because of my height and I know it makes them uncomfortable and insecure. But why do they feel the need to try and strip away all my femininity just because they don’t feel manly enough?
