i hate how no one cares if you have an ed if you’re bigger, like it’s actually encouraged. as a bigger girly i’m out here struggling everyday but no one notices bc im chubby. it’s so much easier to get away with starving yourself when you’re bigger

Fr😭 like if it were anyone else going all day without eating it’s a problem but when it’s me it’s fine. And then when I do eat dinner, I feel like I’m eating for a village

i literally told my dad i only ate once a day and he was like “good for you” (he’s also bigger)

My family used to praise my “discipline” and tell me how proud they were of me when I’d only eat an apple a day

It’s sad. Eating disorders aren’t always gonna be visible so it’s messed up that people assume you can’t have one when you’re bigger

I developed ARFID this year in response to GI issues. I was only recommended to the Emily Program after losing 60 pounds in 6 months, and then they told me if I wanted treatment I would have to go through an 8-week program where I’d have to quit my job and school because I have to fit to their schedule 🙄
