it’s less about the length of the chapter than the length of the fic. but i love long chapters if i’m reading a long fic

Personally I don’t like chapters shorter than 1,000 words but other than that go with what you like/what feels right

Long chapters are peak, the main reason I would suggest shorter chapters would be if u feel pressured/that it’s harder to get out n edit longer chs

i just checked some of my current reads and they're mostly in the 5-10k per chapter range
