Would identical twins still be considered identical in the omegaverse if one of them isn’t the same secondary sex

question is, is secondary sex controlled through DNA as in they’re pre-destined to be that way, does it have to with epigenetics, is it even genetic at all? if it’s in their genetic code then they couldn’t be, since identical twins share a genetic code (I think) but if it’s more epigenetic they could still be identical because environmental factors would be more of what determines the secondary sex

I agree with #1, I was just thinking the same thing. Ya know how some fics have the concept of bitching? That would imply it’s more environmental (or maybe hormonal, like how we have hrt?) than inherent to a persons dna. It really depends on you worldbuilding and what direction you wanna take the story

not necessarily more of just might influence more, but that’d mean there’d be an alpha gene, omega gene etc. all within the same genome, so it’s probably genetic unless it’s something completely different
