I don’t think you can say the book is 1000x better. I think it’s the perfect way to provide the story written down and the movie is the perfect way to provide it through visual media. But that’s just me 😂 I love both so much

I did love the movie too, don’t get me wrong, I’d like to rewatch it when I get the chance, I just wish they didn’t dumb so much down for it 😭

I was able to get a hardback for like 20 dollars on amazon (as much as I hate buying from Amazon) and i’ve seen paperbacks of it at target for less than that but yeah with the movie it’s been hard to find, I looked at multiple bookstores for it before just ordering a copy online
