I’d rather start reading something that isn’t well written and watch the author get better over time. Ai takes all the fun and soul out of writing

Honestly!!! I used to write in grammatically incorrect script formate when I first started writing fanfic as Youngling, but at least I had fun writing it and didn’t use gen Ai 😭

Even if you don’t “improve”, part of the fanfic culture is just having fun writing and coming up with stories about your favorite forms of media!! Using a bot to do all that takes the fun and heart out of fanfic creating.
