i speak very bad french but even i know that when you’re putting something into a translator, you gotta put enough context so it knows if it’s feminine or masculine and formal or informal 😭

It irks me so bad when stuff like this happens 😭 if its my own special interest (like planes how you mentioned!) i can bring myself to look past it but when it bleeds into getting basic info wrong abt the world/character(s) youre writing for thats when it really drives me up the wall

Lmao yeah. Mostly it’s just mistakes about what first class would look like. Understandable, but still wrong. And it’s not like I’ve ever flown first class, but I have the plane autism so it’s just, ya know

Read a voltron fic years back tagged canon compliant no au or anything and the author got their lions mixed up like??? Thats a big detail to miss? And when pointed out by someone else in a comment the author deadass replied and said they were sure they were right. Really baffling example that has stuck with me for a long time LMAO
