anyone know what "R & R please" means in the context of fics? the authors notes at the end of each chapter end with that and i've been wracking my brain for what it could possibly mean

that's the only r&r i could think of but why would the author be asking the readers for that? the fic is from 2015 so i was wondering if it was a way to ask for kudos and comments that i somehow didn't know abt back in the day since they never ask for those but i can't figure out how to make that work
