It’s crazy to see people still screaming “RPF IS BAD‼️” in a fandom where said real couple acknowledges it, actively encourages it, and jokes about ‘no don’t say how boring we actually are, don’t ruin their fanfiction dreams’
I think d&p’s take on RPF is one of the healthier ones. like “have fun on the internet, write stories about us, but DON’T cross the line into trying to invade our real life privacy” which is where the line often gets blurred I find

It’s more so like, write whatever in fanfic but keep it in the realm of fanfic and like. Don’t stalk them, don’t message them or tag them in it, don’t doxx them, don’t try to make your fiction into reality

Tis in fact them 🙏

Yeah fanfic speculating about their sex lives seems so minor in comparison to all the heinous shit fans did to stalk them 😭

Exactly and it seems like they mostly find the fanfiction funny and harmless rather than violating, which is probably good, because I don’t think people would stop writing/reading it even if they said it made them uncomfortable

like I don’t even like RPF personally but people can be unhinged
