Klance, Buddie, and Hilson were mass hallucinations. Sorry. Buddie still has potential to end up in my next category though. Destiel and Byler started as a mass hallucination but then the showrunners leaned into it for views in later seasons. Destiel was the blueprint. Merthur and Johnlock were TRUE queerbait. Queerbaited from the beginning and never changed course one way or the other. These showrunners are dedicated to their craft.
